Frequently Asked Questions

Production related issues:

Who is producing my work?

Lightside has an exclusive arrangement with LTI New York / 68 Degrees to handle all conventional film processing, print production, and most services associated with digital c-print production. For services associated with archival pigment printing, platinum printing, mounting, and framing, Lightside works with a variety of vendors. All projects are assessed individually before the appropriate vendors are assigned.

Can I speak with the technicians?

Absolutely. Lightside encourages all necessary communication related to production issues. Often, in the case of conventional processing and proofing jobs, turnaround times can be so tight that direct contact with the labs production managers is required. Regardless of the project, you’ll benefit from Lightside’s service by having a central representative responsible for all details: from quality control and production coordination … all the way through shipping and billing.

Invoicing related issues:

Who do I pay?

Except in the case of conventional film processing, printing, and services associated with digital c-print production (scanning, file prep, etc.) you’ll be invoiced directly from Lightside Photographic Services, LLC.

Why do I receive some invoices from Lightside Photographic Services and others from LTI New York and 68 Degrees?

Due to the volume of accounts that Lightside manages through LTI New York / 68 Degrees for all conventional processing, printing, and digital c-print production, it is simply more efficient to control invoicing details for those services internally. Lightside handles all invoicing for archival pigment printing, platinum and alternative processes, mounting, and framing services.

What forms of payment are accepted?

C.O.D. and 30 day revolving account payment options are available from both companies and Federal Tax I.D. resale forms are accepted. In most cases regarding direct invoicing from Lightside Photographic Services, payment by check is preferred. For invoices direct from LTI New York / 68 Degrees, all major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash are accepted.
